Details

1. Teaching & Instruction

Deliver engaging visual arts lessons to students in both Primary and Middle School. The maximum regular teaching load is 22 classes per week (40 minutes per class).

2. Curriculum Delivery

Develop and implement a comprehensive art curriculum (e.g., drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, digital media) that fosters creativity and technical skills.

3. Assessment & Grading

Design assessments, evaluate student portfolios, and provide constructive feedback to track artistic growth.

1. Classroom & Material Management

Manage the art classroom environment, ensuring the safe and proper use of tools and materials. Maintain inventory of art supplies.

5. Art Events & Collaboration

Organize and curate student art exhibitions within the school. Collaborate with homeroom teachers on interdisciplinary projects (e.g., art linked to Humanities or Science).

6. Extracurricular Activities

Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school-wide events. Willingness to lead an extracurricular art-related activity (e.g., Art Club, Mural Project) is preferred.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, Visual Arts, or a related field.

· Valid teaching license/certification (e.g., State Credential, PGCE, QTS).

· Native English speaker or non-native English speaker with fluent English proficiency.

· Passion for cross-cultural art education and student-centered pedagogy.

· Strong classroom management skills adaptable for both younger (Primary) and adolescent (Middle School) learners.

Preferred Skills

· Experience teaching visual arts in an international school setting (K-9 preferred).

· Familiarity with EdTech tools (Google Classroom, Seesaw, etc.) for digital portfolios.

· Ability to teach basic digital arts or media design.
