Job Description

• An enthusiastic kindergarten teacher to foster and facilitate the intellectual and social development of the children. 

•Teaching in kindergarten includes planning, implementing and assessing lessons as well as manage the class. 

• You will teach children with patience and creativity. Kindergarten Teacher duties include designing a teaching plan and using activities and instructional methods to motivate children.

• Undertake the role of teaching and management of a class as a homeroom 

teacher in accordance with the school’s teaching philosophy and curriculum.

• Create a lively learning environment which promotes independent learning.

• Observe children and prepare observations and learning stories.

• Teach alphabet and numeracy along with personal, social and emotional skills.

• Deliver a high-quality age-appropriate English lessons.

• Organize learning material and resources

• Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, 

structured games, art, outdoor activities etc) to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities

• Keep appropriate records of achievement for each child in class and provide reports as necessary.

• Collaborate with Chinese teacher and other admin staff members.

n Participate in all school activities. (Marketing Activities and Parents' Open Day,etc.).

• Follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations.

• Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information


Requirements:

• Minimum requirement of a Bachelor Degree (in Education or specialist teaching subject areas), from a recognised institution. 

• At least 2 years of relevant Early Years teaching experience, preferably in bilingual kindergarten.

• Love teaching, love children and displays time management skills.

• Works independently and part of a team.

• Creative and artistic teaching abilities

• Patience and flexibility

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent knowledge of child development and latest education theories and practices

• Proven working experience as a Kindergarten Teacher, or Kindergarten Assistant
